Sy Montgomery

Wednesday, October 3, 2018
Malibu Library

The next featured speaker is naturalist and best-selling author Sy Montgomery, whose adult and children’s books, films and articles document a life spent in close encounters with animals. Montgomery will give a presentation on her most recent book, “How to Be A Good Creature: A Memoir in Thirteen Animals.” In this stunning, poetic, and life-affirming memoir, Montgomery reflects on the personalities and quirks of 13 animals who have profoundly affected her life. Sy’s goal is to reach a worldwide audience at what she considers to be a critical turning point in human history, where we could either save or destroy the earth's animals.

The event is free, but RSVPs are required. RSVP online or call 310-456-6438.
